LPE

Rebrand and graphic design

Together with the Head of Marketing I helped create new branding for Locality Planning Energy (LPE). As the Brand Designer, I was responsible for all visual identity design. As LPE moved further into the retail electricity market in Queensland, the rebrand sort to position LPE as the smarter, friendlier and better electricity provider.

LPE required a new visual identity that was better equipped to represent its new positioning as a leader, showing its expertise in innovative and sustainable energy.

The colours were taken from the iconic Queensland environment a nod to the more sustainable focus of the company. The colours were anchored by the deep ocean blue which allowed the bright, vibrant colours to shine - electric blue, sunshine yellow and rainforest green.

We chose photography that had warm sunshine hues, reflective of the local weather. Set in natural environments (beaches, gardens, fields) with down-to-earth, real people in natural poses. Positive imagery showing families and children fit not only the demographic but conveyed a bright and positive future.
